- Identify new projects (new buildings, redevelopments) and modernization opportunities by tracking architects, consultants, contractors, and real estate developers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants and project decision-makers to win specifications and repeat business.
- Negotiate terms, pricing and contract conditions within company policy to close profitable deals.
3. Team leadership and performance management
- Recruit, train, mentor and supervise sales executives (NI, modernization, and service), set KPIs, review performance, and coach for improvement.
- Run regular sales meetings and product/competition training; drive disciplined use of CRM, enquiry tracking, and reporting.
- Allocate leads/territories fairly, support in complex negotiations, and resolve internal conflicts between lines of business.
4. Technical, pricing and proposal coordination
- Ensure offers meet technical specifications (capacity, speed, travel, machine-room, shaft sizes, standards) and local code/RERA/consultant requirements in coordination with engineering.
- Review cost sheets and guide the team on pricing, discounts and value engineering to protect margins while remaining competitive.jobs.
- Oversee timely submission of tenders, BOQs, drawings, and revisions; ensure clear scope, exclusions, and handover to operations after order.
5. Cross‑functional coordination and project follow‑through
- Work closely with operations, installation and service to align capacity with sales commitments and to meet site timelines.
- Support resolution of major customer issues (delays, quality, breakdowns, modernization justifications) and help secure approvals and payments.jobs.
- Track order-to-installation cycle, ensure required documents (approvals, payments, site readiness) are obtained to avoid revenue slippage.
6. Market intelligence and reporting
- Track competitor products, pricing, specifications and key project wins; feed this information to management and marketing.
- Prepare regular MIS: sales results vs targets, segment-wise performance, forecasting, lost-order analysis, and key action plans.
7. Compliance, safety and ethics
- Ensure that all offers and contracts comply with company policies, legal norms, and applicable safety standards for elevator systems.
- Promote safe, ethical selling practices and ensure marketing claims are aligned with product certifications and performance.
